A mostly sunny start.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 2/20/12 For Today: This storm fizzled on us dropping less snow than expected and holding mostly at the north end of the valley. As a result we will clear earlier than expected with partly sunny conditions through the day. Look for snow lingering on the higher terrain with gusting winds creating windchills you will want to prepare for.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were fairly mild with the clouds with Crested Butte reporting 8 degrees and 10 for Gunnison. Highs will hold at 23 for CB and 27 for Gunny but expect much colder windchills. Lows tonight will be cold dropping to the negative teens.

Outlook: Moisture entrained in a dirty western flow will keep a mixed bag of conditions going through the week. Expect a couple inches a day possible with snow showers but also solid pockets of sunshine. Pack layers on all adventures and expect changes.
