TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 2/19/12 For Today: The front end of this next system is building early with a milder southwestern flow preceding the cold front. Look for increasing cloud cover and colder temperatures developing through the morning with snow and gusting winds by the afternoon. Expect 4-8” by tomorrow morning but keep your fingers crossed as it develops.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped early to 0 for Crested Butte and 3 for Gunnison. Highs today will climb to 28 for CB and 32 for Gunny before the cold front moves in. Look for lows tonight in the single digits with the snow.

Outlook: This cold front will stay after the snow clears on Monday with temperatures 10-15 degrees colder than we have been seeing. Expect dangerous windchill values through Monday with a slow warm up and lingering snow showers as the week progresses.
