TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 2/18/12 For Today: Sunny skies will dominate today as another pacific wave approaches from the west. Look for mild temperatures and beautiful blue sky conditions with some light breezes and high clouds through the afternoon the only challenge to a perfect day.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped under the clear skies to -4 for Crested Butte and -2 for Gunnison. Daytime highs will climb to 33 for CB and 35 for Gunny. Look for cloud building overnight to keep lows in the single digits or teens.

Outlook: A pacific system moving down the west coast will first push a shot of warm air into the area early Sunday before the main body of moisture and a northern cold front follow. This will mean some sloppy travel on Sunday with squally pulses offering 6-10” by Monday morning when skies start to clear. Monday afternoon will be the travel window but plan accordingly.
