TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 1/17/12 For Today: All but a few remnants have cleared the area leaving us with mostly sunny conditions early that will hold through the day. Expect cold temperatures with gusting winds creating dangerously cold windchills you will need to be prepared for.

Temperatures: Overnight lows stayed milder than expected with some residual cloud cover with Crested Butte reporting -1 and -2 for Gunnison. Highs will be cold with CB topping out at 22 degrees and 24 for Gunny but with significantly colder windchills. Overnight lows will drop to the negative teens tonight for all elevations.

Outlook: The new pattern in the west will see the influx of multiple pacific systems through the end of the week. Just where and when these systems will hit is going to be a work in progress as the pattern finds it’s groove. Stay tune for updates but expect active conditions starting Wednesday night and continuing into the weekend.
