TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 1/11/12 For Today: This system moved in earlier than expected with snow starting overnight. Regional radar shows the majority past our area but a pocket will linger on the divide keeping the snow showers going off and on through the day. Accumulations will be limited to an inch or two for the northend of the valley and a trace to the south.

Temperatures: Cloud cover overnight kept temperatures mild with Crested Butte reporting 9 degrees at midnight and warning to 20 this morning and 12 degrees for Gunnison. Highs will stay cold topping out at 26 for CB and 29 for Gunny. Look for a cold clear night tonight with lows in the negative teens.

Outlook: Mostly sunny conditions will hold through the end of the week but models are showing a pattern shift into the weekend. We will have to see what that brings but a change could be encouraging.
