Still shinning.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 1/10/12 For Today: We will see another day of sunny skies early but with some high altitude cloud cover building through the afternoon. Gusting winds will be likely by tonight as this next weak northern system moves into the area from the northwest.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped under the clear skies to 1 degree for Gunnison and 4 degrees for Crested Butte. Highs will warm by a couple degrees today with Gunny reaching 36 degrees and 34 for CB. Look for lows tonight holding in the low single digits again.

Outlook: This system moving into the west will split today with the southern end disappearing to the south while the northern half pushes across northern Colorado. The southern end will offer a chance at snow showers for the northend of the valley through Wednesday but snow totals will be negligible. Look for colder temperatures from an associated cold front with windchills worth being prepared for through the end of the week.
