TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 1/7/12 For Today: Has 2 inches ever looked so deep? We are seeing the southern end of a northern system pushing into our area out of the northwest. This system remains unorganized so expect gaps of sunshine mixing with the snow early in the day with the heavier potential this afternoon and evening. We are hoping for 4”+ so keep dancing.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were warm holding to 14 degrees for Crested Butte and 18 for Gunnison. Highs will climb to 32 for CB and 34 for Gunny. Look for colder lows around 0 tonight as skies clear.

Outlook: Skies will clear by Sunday morning with some residual cloud cover but a mostly sunny trend that will take us into the beginning of the week. Models are showing a chance at snow by the middle of the week so things are looking up as the pattern starts to get more active.
