TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 1/6/12 For Today: Clear skies early will see high clouds moving into the area over the course of the day as a pacific wave moves into the Great Basin. Expect slightly cooler temperatures and pack a layer as you head out.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were on par with what we have been seeing with Crested Butte reporting 7 degrees and 5 for Gunnison. Highs today will top out at a cooler 37 degrees valley wide. Look for warmer lows tonight in the teens as cloud cover builds.

Outlook: So put the tools out in the yard, leave the kids toys in the driveway, whatever it takes because we have a swing at a little snow on Saturday. This system lacks moisture but dynamics could fuel a few inches through Saturday and Sunday. Models have increased the outlook through the week but there are still glaring problems but start wishing and do that snow dance.
