TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 1/1/12 For Today: A colder airmass has filled in on the heals of this system that pushed through to our north and it will mean a break from the very warm conditions that dominated for the last week. Expect mostly sunny conditions with gusting winds as high pressure sets back up but pack an extra layer today.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped under the clear skies to -1 for Crested Butte and 3 for Gunnison. Highs will hold to 34 degrees for Gunny and 37 for CB. Look for another colder night with lows right around 0.

Outlook: The high pressure ridge will set back up across the west to start the week but we are seeing some action in the pacific that may prove positive by next weekend. As it stands models are offering differing solutions but the ridge will clear and we could see some moisture. Think snow.
