A little snow.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/29/11 For Today: We are sitting on the southern most end of a weak wave of northern moisture and can expect snow showers early reducing in frequency throughout the day. Accumulations will be limited but squally showers could produce an inch or two on the resort and higher terrain. Pack some extra layers as you head out.

Temperatures: Cloud cover building overnight kept us mild with Crested Butte reporting 19 degrees and 12 for Gunnison. Highs today will reach 42 for Gunny and 37 for CB. Look for clearer skies overnight with lows dropping back to 10 or below.

Outlook: A stronger pacific system will move through well to our north through Friday night and Saturday with just the trailing remnants making it to our side of the divide. Look for high gusting winds to keep it moving quickly with high pressure filling back in on it’s heals to start out the week.
