Increasing clouds.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/28/11 For Today: Regional radar is showing cloud cover pushing south early that will thicken through the day with isolated snow showers possible over the highest terrain. The mix of sun and clouds will create variable conditions and you’ll want to have layers to account for temperature shifts.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were milder with Crested Butte reporting 5 degrees and 3 degrees for Gunnison. Highs will be on par with yesterday with CB reaching 36 degrees and 37 for Gunny. Look for lows continuing to hold right around 0 or just above.

Outlook: What we need right now is a big shuffle in the western weather pattern. Models are showing these kinds of changes down the road but the extended forecast is still calling for sun and mild temperatures. Watch the pacific systems and keep your fingers crossed.
