TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/20/11 For Today: We will see some residual high cloud cover but mostly sunny conditions will dominate through today as we gap western systems. Look for some light breezes but mild and sunny conditions will hold.

Temperatures: Overnight lows stayed fairly moderate again overnight with Crested Butte reporting 11 degrees and 12 degrees for Gunnison. Highs will climb back to 32 for CB and 31 for Gunny under sunny skies. Look for colder lows tonight right around 0 under clearer skies.

Outlook: The next pacific system is moving into the northwest today and will drop into the 4 corners area through tomorrow. Dynamics will help compensate for limited moisture but we will be lucky to get more than 5” by Thursday when skies will start to clear again. There are a lot of variables that need to come together for this one so leave the tools out, toys in the yard, whatever and start wishing.
