TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/19/11 For Today: High clouds have spread north into our area from a weak southern system. We can expect cloud cover all day with snow showers mostly on the higher terrain offering low level accumulations to the valleys.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were warmer with the cloud cover with Crested Butte reporting 14 degrees and 8 for Gunnison. Highs today will stay cooler with the clouds with CB topping out at 31 and 33 for Gunny. Look for cooler lows tonight as skies clear.

Outlook: We are continuing to see moisture starved systems moving into the west. Skies will clear through Tuesday and stay sunny until we see another glancing blow this time from the north starting Wednesday afternoon. This is another hungry system and without changes we won’t see much snow so do that snow dance.
