TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/17/11 For Today: We have another cold clear day on tap as the inversion remains trapped over the lower valleys. It will feel warmer in the sun but you will wan to have plenty of layers and be prepared for colder conditions.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped again under the clear skies to -2 degrees for Crested Butte and -4 degrees for Gunnison. Highs today will climb back to 30 for CB and 31 for Gunny. Look for another cold night with lows at all elevations hovering on the 0 mark.

Outlook: The western weather pattern is showing a number of different systems flirting with becoming something but as it stands there is nothing too impressive. Look for cloud cover through Sunday and maybe some snow showers on Monday but we are going to need some help for more than a collection of traces. Keep your fingers crossed and do that snow dance.
