TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/14/11 For Today: The tail end of this system is still hanging on and snow will continue through most of the day but look for clearing from the west to east. Snow showers will linger on the higher terrain overnight but the rest of the valley will be clearing. Anything over 3” today will be lucky.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped to 16 degrees for Crested Butte and held to 26 degrees for Gunnison. Highs will slowly climb to 30 for CB and 34 for Gunny with cloud cover holding. Look for cold lows tonight with the new snow and clear skies dropping to right around 0 for all elevations.

Outlook: Partly to mostly sunny skies will dominate through the end of the week and most of the weekend with cool clear nights and normal highs. Our next chance at snow will come early next week but models are still waffling on timing and trajectory so stay tuned.
