In the lull early but more snow coming.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/13/11 For Today: We are into a lull between pockets of moisture early and we will see breaks of sunshine before the clouds thicken again and the snow restarts. Moisture is limited but snow will be heavy at times through this evening limiting visibility and hopefully offering a few inches before tomorrow morning.
Temperatures: Overnight lows were moderated by the cloud cover with Crested Butte reporting 19 degrees and 10 for Gunnison. Highs will climb during the sunny breaks to 32 for CB and 33 for Gunny. Look for another night in the teens with heavy cloud cover and snow.
Outlook: Snow will stick with us through Wednesday with another 1-3” possible but skies will clear overnight. Mostly sunny conditions will hold through the end of the week and the weekend but there is another pacific round brewing that could bring back the snow early next week.
