One more day of sun then a swing at snow.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/11/11 For Today: We are seeing a transition in the direction of the western weather pattern today and as the flow moves around to the west we will see a shot of dry desert air. Behind this is the next round of pacific moisture but look for milder temperatures and sunshine today.

Temperatures: Overnight lows stayed cold with Crested Butte reporting 1 degree and -2 for Gunnison. Highs will be mild with CB hitting 35 degrees and 36 for Gunny. Look for high clouds to warm lows to the higher single digits tonight.

Outlook: Look for partly cloudy conditions developing early Monday to give way to thicker clouds and snow showers by nightfall. This pacific moisture will slowly push through the area through Wednesday with snow expected in varied degrees but with limited accumulation. As it stands the dynamics are limited with this wave but we could get lucky so keep your fingers crossed.
