TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/8/11 For Today: High clouds from a northern system moved in overnight but the brunt of this moisture is well to the north and the only result for us will be cloud cover and some very isolated snow showers for the northend of the valley. One good development will be gusting winds which will help mix the cold air clear of the lowest valleys.

Temperatures: Overnight lows continued to warm with Crested Butte reporting 2 degrees and 0 for Gunnison. Cloud cover will slow the warm up today but CB will reach 29 degrees and Gunny will stay a little cooler at 24. Overnight lows will drop as skies clear again hitting 0 or below for all elevations.

Outlook: Dry conditions with milder temperatures will hold through the weekend but a shift in the pattern will bring changes for next week. Models are differing on the options but one scenario brings southern moisture up to us for Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed for this one.
