Cold snow.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/3/11 For Today: Snow has started a little later than expected and this wave of moisture is turning out to be on the weak side. Favorable dynamics will wring out any available moisture offering snow in varied degrees throughout the day. Accumulations will be limited to a couple inches in the valleys but potentially much more up high.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were fairly mild with Crested Butte reporting 17 degrees and 21 for Gunnison. Highs will be cold with CB topping out at 30 degrees and 33 for Gunny. Lows will drop tonight to the single digits as this cold front settles in.

Outlook: Weak waves of pacific moisture are continuing to feed into the west and moisture is limited but the favorable dynamics will mean we will see the best they have to offer. Look for snow tapering off between waves but continuing into Monday morning. Temperatures will be cold so bundle up.
