Do that snow dance.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update: 12/2/11 For Today: We are sitting in a gap of clear skies between pacific systems but conditions will change through the day with high clouds building to snow by this afternoon. We are seeing southern moisture lifting in to join northern cold and these dynamics are looking promising for snow continuing through Saturday.
Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped under the clear skies with Crested Butte reporting 4 degrees and 10 degrees for Gunnison. Highs will stay cool holding to 32 for CB and 34 for Gunny. Look for lows holding to the teens tonight ahead of the thicker snow.
Outlook: The components that are now coming together present more of an all or nothing scenario. Expect squally bands settling in through Saturday morning with more consistent snow into the afternoon and evening. 2-4” down low could turn into more up high but do that snow dance and keep your fingers crossed.
