Another pure blue day in the cue.
For 6/18/10: For Today: We are seeing nothing but high pressure holding in the southwest and blue skies will dominate again today. The colder air from the north has all but cleared the area and this will mean lighter winds gusting only to the teens and warmer conditions that will continue to build into the weekend.
Temperatures: Lows were colder than expected with the clear skies and cold air with Crested Butte dropping to 31 degrees and Gunnison close behind at 32 degrees. Highs for today will climb by a few more degrees with Crested Butte seeing 71 degrees and Gunnison pushing towards 80. Look for lows tonight to be in the mid 30’s and likely hold above that freezing mark.
Outlook: The extended forecast is offering no real surprises with these warm and sunny conditions holding into the weekend. Look for wind again on Saturday but the next chance for anything but sunny skies holds off until late next week. Plan with confidence and get outside.
