Beautiful spring conditions.

For 4/10/10: For Today: High pressure remains the dominant weather feature over our area but we are seeing some high clouds sifting into the area as a weak system moves through northern Colorado. We will see this spotty cloud cover but that’s the sum total of the challenges to the blue skies. Expect some light winds but warm and sunny conditions will hold.

Overnight lows were warmer by a couple degrees than last night with Crested Butte reporting 18 degrees and Gunnison 20 degrees. Daytime highs will come up a degree or two from yesterday with the low 50’s likely valley wide as the warmer southern flow lifts into our area. Look for another overnight low a lot like last night hovering on the 20 degree mark.

Sunday will offer more of the same but increasing cloud cover is possible through the afternoon. By Monday the forecast gets a little less certain with models still waffling on timing and trajectory for the next pacific wave. Enjoy these beautiful conditions for the weekend because we are headed for some changes.
