Blue bird and warm.
For 4/9/10: For Today: We are continuing to see this high pressure ridge holding strong with clear and sunny conditions holding again for today. This will be the trend through the better part of the weekend with warm daytime highs and mostly sunny conditions. By the beginning of next week different models are offering different solutions for a pacific wave but there is a steady string of blue bird days between now and then.
Overnight lows were warmer than Wednesday night with Crested Butte reporting 14 degrees and Gunnison holding right in step at 15 degrees. Daytime highs will top out in the high 40’s and start pushing the 50 degree mark for all elevations. Tonight’s low will look a lot like last night with the teens likely for all elevations.
It’s going to be clear sailing through today with some moisture starting to shift to our north threatening some high clouds but the southwestern flow will continue to dominate. This will continue through Sunday with Monday looking like the best chance at the bigger variables.
