High pressure holding but big changes on the way.

For 3/29/10: For Today: We are waking up to some high clouds but mostly sunny conditions will dominate through the better part of the day as this high pressure transitions out of the area. Tomorrow will bring big changes and a pretty significant shuffle of the western weather pattern with high winds ushering in fronts from the west that will return snow to the area. Enjoy today with these big changes on the way.

Overnight lows were a bit warmer with the high clouds with Crested Butte reporting 9 degrees and Gunnison 10 degrees. Daytime highs will be mild with temperatures topping 40 degrees for all elevations. Tonight will be about on par with last night but clouds will be increasing.

The rest of our week is looking pretty active with Tuesday marking some big transitions throughout the west. Look for winds blowing 30mph+ at the lower elevations with much stronger on the peaks. Snow will return to the valley by Wednesday so definitely get outside today.
