For 3/28/10: For Today: High pressure has settled in and will dominate our weather through the day on Monday. Look for some gusting winds and high clouds as the pattern shifts but mostly sunny skies will dominate through the short term. Today will be beautiful with sunny skies and much warmer temperatures.

Overnight lows were colder with the clear skies with Crested Butte reporting 4 degrees and Gunnison staying warmer at 9 degrees. We will rebound early for warm daytime highs in the 30’s. Look for another colder clear night with lows in the single digits.

This high pressure pocket will hold strong through today and tomorrow with Tuesday offering a day of transitions with northern weather dipping back into the area. Until then sunny skies will dominate with warm daytime highs and cooler overnight lows. Don’t forget sunscreen today and layer up to account for warmer temperatures through the afternoon.
