Snow moving in early.

For 3/23/10: For Today: This next round of moisture is on track dropping into our area from the north early. Look for snow in squally showers offering a couple of inches of accumulation through the day today with another couple overnight tonight. This system lacks the teeth to produce any real snow but a few inches will freshen up the conditions.

Overnight lows were significantly milder than the night before with Crested Butte reporting 14 degrees and Gunnison 12 degrees. Daytime highs will hold in the mid to low 30’s with snow and heavy cloud cover moving in early. Look for another milder overnight low tonight with snow continuing.

Snow will be with us through Wednesday morning but skies will clear for the afternoon and Thursday. The break will be short lived with another pacific system building in for the end of the week. Layer up today and expect changes.
