Warm and sunny.
For 3/21/10: For Today: This high pressure ridge has moved into our area overnight pushing the colder northern system clear and ushering in significantly milder conditions. We’ll see the return of the spring like conditions with pure blue bird conditions on tap for today and just some light high clouds building into the area for tomorrow.
Overnight lows last night stayed cold with the lingering colder northern influence with Crested Butte reporting -5 degrees again and Gunnison dropping to -4 degrees. Daytime highs will rebound quickly with most elevations popping above 30 degrees. Look for warmer lows tonight but still in the single digits.
The high pressure gap will start to fill in tomorrow with a pacific system slipping into the cue for Tuesday. Models are waffling on the strength but it will mean snow through the middle of the week. Until then enjoy these incredible conditions and don’t forget sunscreen.
