And the sunny days continue.

For 11/3/09: For Today: No real changes to report in the mild high pressure pattern. The ridge continues to move across the west and will be east of our area by Wednesday night which will open the door for some changes but this will be limited to some light high cloud cover and gusting winds through the weekend. All in all the unseasonably warm conditions will hold with more blue skies in the forecast.

Overnight lows were right in trend with what we have been seeing with Crested Butte reporting 17 degrees this morning and Gunnison weighing in just a degree cooler at 16 degrees. Daytime highs will climb another degree or two warmer than yesterday topping out at 51 for Crested Butte and 56 for Gunnison. Tonight’s lows should be just about the same as we have been seeing dropping to the high teens by the morning.

With no real changes brewing to the pattern we can expect more warm and sunny conditions through the end of the week. The only challenge to the blue skies will come in the form of some light high cloud cover but this won’t be enough to effect any significant change.
