A better trend.

For 10/9/09: Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air this morning with a low of 25F at 7:30 am.  A nice day in store for today, especially compared to the last couple days.  Currently we are under the influence of a northwest flow with moisture to the north of us in Wyoming.  Watch for mostly sunny skies today with light northwest winds and a high in the upper 40's.  This weekend small shortwaves in the flow will cause moisture to sag south into Colorado.  On Saturday we will have another mostly sunny day with a chance for some cloud development from the northern system.  By Sunday the moisture seems to dip further south and again we will have a chance for rain and snow showers. Monday (Columbus Day) will be the nicest and warmest day in a while as the northern system will be well to our east.  Long Term looks like another large pacific system moves our way by Wednesday with a very active period of weather late next week.  Stayed Tuned... BR ...
