High Pressure continues.
For 3/19/09: This last weak system that brought us the cloud over through yesterday afternoon has cleared the area to the east and we have entered the gap between pacific waves. Sunny skies will hold through the afternoon but look for high cloud cover building into the evening as another weak system from the west moves into the area. This will be another weak fast moving system that will cycle clear of the area again by Saturday with little chance at more then a trace for accumulation.
Temperatures have remained warm with the valley wide low holding at 17 degrees again overnight. We will see sunny skies allowing temperatures to climb quickly back towards another warm high in the high 40’s. Tonight’s lows will likely remain a bit warmer with the cloud cover we are expecting overnight and should hover right on 20 degrees.
These weak waves out of the west have yet to produce any new snow but it is an indication of more action in the pacific and we could be in for some significant changes through the beginning of next week. Until then it looks like we will continue to see these very warm temperatures with more sunny conditions on tap for today and Saturday. Layer up just in case we see cloud cover building early but sunscreen will remain your primary concern.
