TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update:

For 11/29/08: This northern dominated flow has really developed through the last 24 hours with the ridge holding the moisture to our north now clearly delineated. We will sit right in the edge of these systems with weaker showers blowing over the divide but the gusting winds will keep everything moving too quickly for any real chance at measurable accumulation.

Temperatures will hold at the high 20’s and low 30’s for all elevations and the gusting winds will make it feel a lot colder so definitely prepare for dangerously low windchill values. Overnight lows have stayed fairly moderate again with Gunnison in the high teens while Crested Butte held to 20 degrees. These will drop even lower through tonight as skies clear hitting the low teens and single digits for tomorrow morning.

The trick to staying comfortable today will be layering up as scattered snow showers continue to threaten from the north and the wind blows us up sunny patches. Don’t be fooled by areas of sunshine, stay bundled up and prepared for all conditions.
